We are a community led Regatta started in 1982 to raise money for the RNLI.  Every year we get together on the beach for a day of fun and fundraising.  Everyone is welcome from near and far to join, take part in a race if you're feeling adventurous or just enjoy a slice of cake on the beach and watch the fun!

We can't wait to see you all back on the beach again - sand between your toes and ready to race!

 

AUGUST 10th 2024, from 12pm onwards

We'll have the usual full roster of races throughout the afternoon - all ages and all abilities welcome!

 

On the water there's rowing, paddleboarding, kayaking and the highly competitive Land & Sea.

 

On the beach will be the kids' sandcastle competition (judging mid-afternoon), egg & spoon, sack and three-legged races, as well as the dramatic Tug of War competition - assemble your teams of 6 to do battle!!

The Ferry Boat Inn will be firing up its fantastic BBQ at 12:30pm, and the Regatta will get under way with the Fancy Dress competition (judging 1:30pm*) and the swimming races.

​​​

We'll have a delicious selection of cakes from our fantastic cake stall, an amazing raffle, bottle tombola, face painting and beach games.

​

We hope the Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat will be able to join us on the pontoon, and the Ferry Boat Inn will have live music to keep you dancing until late!

​

It'll be the best fun on the river this summer - come and join us!

*The Fancy Dress competitions are for the under 10s and under 6s, theme "A DAY AT THE BEACH" with individual and group prizes up for grabs.

All funds raised on the day go to our lifesavers, the RNLI.
